Introductory Courses
Introducing Neuropsychology to the Psychotherapist and Related Professions
Brain Structure, Behaviour, Development and Decline
The above basic training programme offers the practitioner an in-depth understanding of brain structure, development and function under both normal circumstances and stressful environmental conditions, focusing on attachment and anxiety over five stages of life: embryo to birth, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and older age.
The brain is a magnificent and complex organ, finding new pathways to adaptation for survival; the brain remains flexible to varying degrees from conception until death. Psychotherapy can play a significant part in the healing of stressful adaptation.
