Discovering Neuropsychology

Eve Cunningham

Eve is a clinical psychologist and accredited psychotherapist and supervisor. She was a consultant for the Home Office, working mainly with adolescents, where her role involved assessment for therapeutic and clinical treatment for a full range of mental health issues. She was responsible for the preparation of reports for legal proceedings, and the supervision and training of other therapists and trainee psychologists.

She is the Clinical Director of Discovering Neuropsychology, which involves overseeing the provision of a range of therapeutic services, and she organises and facilitates a programme of training courses introducing neuropsychology to the psychotherapist and other health professionals.

Eve qualified in 1994 with a master’s degree in psychology from Liverpool University. After qualifying, Eve decided to pursue a clinical psychology career path as this more closely reflected her broader interests in human functioning. She then completed a professional doctoral training course in clinical psychology.

After completing her clinical placement at Great Ormond Street Hospital, she worked at St Thomas’ Hospital and the Tavistock Clinic, working with children, adolescents and their parents. She also maintains a private practice, working with adults, offering psychotherapy and clinical supervision.
